Don Millman ~ After a short battle with cancer, with his family by his side, Donald Alexander Millman of Wroxeter, and formerly of Owen Sound, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 14, 2018, in his 73rd year.
Beloved partner and dear friend of Muriel Habermehl.
Brother of Bill and Lynn Millman, Cam Millman, and Tim and Mary-Jo Millman, all of Owen Sound, and Andy and Connie Millman of Orillia, and remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Missed by Muriel's children Ken and Debbie Beirnes, Bev Hiltz, Steve and Grace Bender, and by their families.
Predeceased by his parents Cam and Evelyn (Gray) Millman, brother Jim, and sister Lorree Millman-Armstrong.
Don and Murriel owned and operated D & M Auto in Gorrie. Don was well-known through his business and for his dedication to his community. He received "The Citizen of the Year Award" for Howick Township, 2016, in recognition of his business generosity and commitment to his community.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
